    Audi Clearwater has an immediate need for a Loaner Car Coordinator!

     

     

    This position is mainly responsible for:

    • Maintaining a rental fleet of Audi vehicles.
    • Responsible for fleet size, fleet maintenance, unit tracking

    Responsibilities

                                                                                                   

    • Maintain, track, and account for all units in fleet on daily basis
    • Contact customers regarding delinquent return of vehicles and related charges .
    • Maintains all management reports in accordance with Crown’s policies.
    • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
    • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all rental department staff.
    • Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the rental department.
    • Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the factory.
    • Attends managers meetings.
    • Monitors and controls the performance of the rental department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys.
    • Maintain proper appearance of all vehicles.
    • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect rental car operations, .
    • Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
    • Accounts for all rental documents; ensures that none are missing and all are processed correctly.
    • Inspect units at delivery and upon return for damage Inform customer of charges
    • Directs and schedules the activities of all department employees.
    • Facilitates and/or conducts technical training .
    • Interact with service dept management and general manager to insure adequate but economic and efficient fleet size based on customer demand.
    • Accurately and completely Prepare rental agreements for customers..
    • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business..

     

    Additional Responsibilities Include:

    • Keeps abreast of new rental car software applications.
    • Ensures that the rental areas and customer waiting area are kept clean..
    • Ensures the proper care, storage, appearance and inventory of rental units.
    • Ensures that all customers are greeted promptly and given fair estimates on costs of the rental unit..
    • Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
    • Resolves employee issues while maintaining high employee morale and acceptable retention levels.
    • Maintains safe work environment.
    • Other duties may be assigned, based on company’s needs.


     

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • College Degree preferred.
    • Rental car operations management
    • Basic computer knowledge preferred.
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, .  .
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to resolve employee issues while maintaining high employee morale and acceptable retention levels.
    • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and customer service skills – approachable, cheerful, helpful, etc.
    • Maintains professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
    • Current Driver’s License and ability to meet US employment and Crown’s eligibility requirements.
